ROCK START
Rock Start introduces young musicians to the exciting world of rock band instruments through fun, hands-on musical activities. Students explore drums, guitar, bass, keyboard, and voice while building confidence and curiosity about music.
Through rhythm games, pitch activities, and creative play, students develop foundational musical skills while learning how different instruments work together in a band.
Each student rotates through all instruments during class, giving them the chance to discover which instrument they enjoy most.
OPENING ACT
Opening Act is a small-group band experience where young musicians rehearse together, learn real rock and pop songs, and build confidence performing with others. Students develop timing, listening skills, and stage presence while learning how bands actually work.
Each session works toward a live performance so students can experience their first real gig.
Students enrolled in Opening Act must also be taking weekly private lessons. Private lessons help students learn their individual parts during the week, while band rehearsal focuses on playing together as a band.
